The Politics of Lying
A lot of the Social-Democrats are complaining
these days about the absence of Weapons of Mass Destruction in
Iraq. Aside from the fact our troops have found barrels of a
suspicious substance, and semi-trailers which appear to fit the
description of mobile biological warfare labs Colin Powell described
before the war, plus rockets tipped with poison gas substance,
there have been more than one mass grave uncovered revealing
the bodies of people Saddam had murdered, including women and
children, with evidence some of the victims weren't dead when
they were buried. We already knew Saddam killed thousands of
his people with poison gas when they tried to rebel against his
dictatorial practices, and these graves were discovered since
the war, offer proof that there had been weapons of mass destruction.
Most likely, thanks to our "loyal French friends",
Saddam was fore-warned that President Bush wasn't kidding around,
and to get rid of his WMD beforehand. Thanks to the other "guiltless"
neighbor, Syria, a lot of the hierarchy of Saddam's government
found refuge there, or went on to Europe using French-issued
passports. It isn't beyond the realm of possibility that Syria
also harbored the weapons of mass destruction for later use. Clinton, when he ordered air raids
on Serbia because Milosevich had been guilty of mass murders
in Bosnia, when they never found any evidence of such. How many
innocent people do you suppose he had killed in those illegal
raids? |
